STRICTLY fans have been left baffled that Dan Walker is still in the contest — despite regularly being at the wrong end of the leaderboard.

The BBC Breakfast host, 44, and partner Nadiya Bychkova, 32, have finished in the bottom three for three weeks in a row. But despite some scathing remarks from judges they have never ended up in the dance-off, for which dancers are selected in a combination of a public vote and judges’ scores.

In contrast, axed Adam Peaty and Katya Jones gradually improved and finished second from top in week four, with a total score of 32.
