A new study is revealing our TV viewing habits! According to THR, a report from Nielsen says consumers spent more time watching streaming services than broadcast television in May. Click inside to read more… Nielsen used a measurement called “The Gauge” to conduct their study and according to the graphic, streaming made up 26 percent of TV usage in May versus the 25 percent for over-the-air networks. Netflix and YouTube led the pack, comprising 12 percent of the time Americans spend in front of their TVs.
Cable made up the largest portion, scoring 39 percent of usage in May, while the rest of the TV-viewing pie was other activities like gaming and playback of physical media.
