James McClean and Joe Allen have generously donated large sums of cash to The Donna Louise Hospice to help the charity survive the coronavirus crisis.
The local registered charity, which cares for children and young adults with life-limiting conditions, has been struggling to stay in business.
But the two Stoke City footballers have dipped into their own pockets amid the global pandemic to save the hospice. Both players are isolating as they wait to return to work, with the Championship season suspended.
McClean and Allen have put their spare time to good use, though, by lending the charity a huge helping hand. Justine Trumper, of Stoke's Donna Louise Trust, has praised the two stars, who used to be Premier League regulars.
