The 28-year-old spoke out against racism in a powerful rallying cry, in which he said he ‘may not have a career’ over being so vocal.
After Mark Hamill and Jordan Peele praised the actor, who stars as Finn in the franchise, the Star Wars Twitter account assured him of their support.
A message shared with their 4.4million followers read: ‘We stand with and support you, @JohnBoyega,’ with a link to his speech on YouTube.
