Tinie Tempah has addressed the downplaying of the UK’s racism problem, describing it as ‘the height of ignorance’. The 31-year-old rapper has called racism ‘inhumane’ in the wake of the death of George Floyd, which has sparked Black Lives Matter protests worldwide.
Floyd, a 46-year-old black man, died in Minneapolis after a white police officer, Derek Chauvin, pressed his knee into his neck for over eight minutes during an arrest.
