Kanye West joined a Black Lives Matter march in his hometown of Chicago to protest police brutality and the death of George Floyd.
The rapper had stayed quiet on social media following the death of Floyd, a 46-year-old black man who died during an arrest after a white police officer, Derek Chauvin, knelt on his neck, and the resulting protests worldwide.
However, he has now made his stance known, as the 42-year-old joined a Justice For George Floyd/CPD Out of CPS rally on the South Side.
Kanye, wearing a black face mask and a hoodie, was pictured walking with other protestors in Illinois on 4 June, after calling the organisers of Good Kids Mad City the day prior to say he wanted to get involved.
