Express Sport: “It was a massive responsibility for the boys to go out and play in our first ever senior game. “There were understandably a lot of nerves at the start and we had to pull together to get through the opening five or ten minutes.“The first goal really settled us down and we scored just before half-time as well which gave us a bit of breathing space.“The boys were buzzing before the game so it took a lot of energy to get through it, especially as it was so hot on Saturday as well.“The whole team did really well, even the boys who didn’t get on were supporting the team and ensuring the energy levels stayed up.“The team spirit we’ve got within the group already is amazing and I’m honestly just so proud of them.“It was a superb win.
