Tens of thousands of householders across Scotland who were left without power after Storm Arwen will receive extra compensation from Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN).The extreme conditions, deemed a "once in a generation" weather event, on Friday, November 26 affected 135,000 SSEN customers, mainly in north east Scotland, with the last homes only reconnected nine days later.
