Devastating image shows impact Storm Arwen is still having on Scots country parks

This is the devastating aftermath of Storm Arwen as huge numbers of trees through the country have been flattened by massive gales.

Council chiefs in Aberdeenshire have warned that country parks at Haddo and Aden are still unsafe due to the damage caused by Arwen last month.

At the end of November, Scotland was battered by winds of up to 90mph and flurries of snow which left thousands without heat or power for up to a week.
