South Lanarkshire community groups granted over £8000 for projects

Over £8000 has been granted to community groups in Cambuslang and Rutherglen. Eleven groups were given money from the council’s community grants scheme which is offered to help fund projects, one group was also funded as part of the Warm Welcome Initiative.

Under the community grants scheme, Glencairn FC 2006's in Rutherglen were given £700 for equipment. The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

Particip8 Overton in Cambuslang were given £1000 for equipment and administration costs.Burnside in Bloom received £1000 for an environmental project.
