A group of South Lanarkshire secondary school students visited a local substation in an attempt to inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers.SP Energy Networks welcomed aspiring pupils from Lesmahagow High School to its Coalburn substation to help inspire the next generation of science, technology, engineering and mathematics talent.The community liaison team at SP Energy Networks arranged the visit for fourth, fifth and sixth-year pupils to be led on an escorted tour of the substation site.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
