Those partaking in sports are reminded to stick to social distancing guidelines if playing with one person not from the same household.
The authority said: “Public tennis courts in parks are now open at Victoria Park, Parr Fold Park and Boothsbank park. “Remember to stay two metres apart if you are playing with one person not from the same household.
