Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has seemingly gone against club 'insiders' when it comes to Donny van de Beek. The Dutchman has again been snubbed, missing out of the Carabao Cup semi-final with Manchester City this evening.Van de Beek is yet to prove his true worth to United since arriving from Ajax in the summer.And according to the Athletic, United insiders want the former Eredivisie star to be used in a different role.Staff believe Van de Beek should be used on the left of a midfield diamond, rather than being deployed in central midfield or in a the number 10 role behind the attacking trio.This evening, Solskjaer has ignored those people by benching the struggling midfielder once more.Scott McTominay, Fred and Paul Pogba.
