Allison Mack has been sentence to three years in prison for her role in the NXIVM cult scandal. The Smallville actress was jailed after she was found guilty of manipulating women into becoming sex slaves for the group's leader.
Mack pleaded guilty in 2019 to racketeering and conspiracy. She was expected to seek credit for cooperating against NXIVM leader Keith Raniere, as well as taking responsibility for helping to create the cult, which saw its female followers branded with Raniere's initials. "I made choices I will forever regret," she said at her sentencing, also telling the judge she is filled with "remorse and guilt."
