A source close to Simon Cowell has hit back at claims he had an affair with Mel B, calling the allegations "total nonsense".
Earlier this week, The Sun claimed Lauren Silverman, Simon’s partner, sent the Spice Girls ' member a number of text messages confronting the affair claims.
However, the rumours were quickly shot down by a source close to the music mogul. They told the publication: "There is no affair and there never has been.
Simon has never cheated on Lauren. It is total nonsense. Everything is fine between them." On Tuesday evening, an insider claimed to The Sun that Lauren, who shares a son with Simon, became "very suspicious" because the 60-year-old isn't short of female fans.
