guilty to child sex charges has allegedly killed his ex-girlfriend just days after being released from prison. Ernest Terrell Blakney, 47, was out of prison after a judge denied a request from prosecutors to hold him their until he was sentenced for the sexual assault of a 13-year-old girl.
He is now accused of shooting his ex-girlfriend dead and setting fire to his home in Milwaukee, US, on August 25, according to Fox 6. Inside the property they found Blakney's ex-girlfriend Nikia Rogers, 36, dead. It was ruled a homicide after an autopsy ruled she died from bullet wounds to her back and head.
Blakney was charged with second-degree sexual assault and accused of engaging in sex with a 13-year-old girl in 2020. He pleaded guilty and was convicted on August 15 this year, after which Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge David Borowski denied a request from prosecutors for him to be remanded in custody.
