msn.comDaily Mail journalist Craig Hope has shared a positive injury update regarding Newcastle United midfielder Bruno Guimaraes. As per Chronicle Live, the 24-year-old missed Brazil’s friendly against Ghana on Friday due to a thigh problem.
As a result, the Magpies star sought treatment in the team hotel, with the national team deciding to opt against risking an injury.
Guimaraes had previously suffered from a hamstring injury for Newcastle prior to the international break, so fears arose when news emerged of the midfielder having sustained a fresh problem whilst playing for his country.
After revealing that Guimaraes joined Alexander Isak in returning to Tyneside to have their injuries assessed, Hope shared a fresh update on the former Lyon star’s fitness situation, along with a possible return date for Newcastle.
