But now the multi-talented Sheridan Smith is making fans do a double take to recognise her in latest costume. For the star - whose recent jobs have included fronting the dog grooming talent show Pooch Perfect - has undergone a daily stint of three hours in the make up chair to transform herself into a witch for this year's Sky fairy tale, Hansel and Gretel: After Ever After.
It's been co-written by David Walliams, who stars as the Troll, and also appeared in last year's Jack and the Beanstalk alongside Sheridan.
