Sex robots with artificial intelligence (AI) that is "identical to the human brain" will be able to think for themselves, an expert claims.
Dr Ian Pearson also warned that if they get to that stage we may not be able to control them. The futurologist told Daily Star Online: "The basic principle is there is nothing at all to stop you making a machine which is in many ways identical to the human brain. "If you do that it will have the same freedom of decision-making and you can't control it, I don't believe you can control it." He added he does not foresee such intelligence until 2050.
