mum has told how her husband is trying to scrap her Christmas Eve box tradition for her autistic daughter. The mum said she has been giving her daughter a gift box every year on Christmas Eve for 15 years - but her partner of eight years has demanded she stop doing it because it is 'a waste of money'.Posting on Mumsnet the mum said she fills the box with new pjs, dressing gown, slippers, a Christmas dvd, a bath bomb a hot chocolate sachet and sweets.She said her daughter loves the tradition and she would hate to stop it, but her husband is against it.
She said: "When I was growing we always got new pjs for Christmas and had a film night before bed. When I had my dd 15 years ago I copied this except I put it in a box.
