Scots woman left with serious facial injury after being punched in brutal Airdrie attack

Cops have launched an investigation into the assault, which happened at a taxi rank in the town centre. The incident occurred at around 10.45pm on Stirling Street, on Saturday, July 10.It's understood a 46-year-old was left with a serious facial injury after being punched.

She was rushed to University Hospital Monklands for treatment. Police have launched an appeal and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
