weather warning for rain in Scotland. Those in the north-west of the country are being urged to take care on the roads as forecasters predict flooding and travel disruption.

The affected areas are from around Fort William to the very north-west of mainland Scotland.Forecasters have put the warning in place until Monday evening, when the bad weather is predicted to clear.

Up to 80 millimeters of rain could fall over higher ground.A statement from The Met Office read: "Expect spray and flooding on roads, probably making journey times longer."Bus and train services probably affected with journey times taking longer.Rain will become persistent and heavy at times during Sunday, continuing on Monday."Rainfall accumulations of 60 to 80mm are.
