Scots nightclub boss targeted in firebomb attack on plush street as house gutted by blaze

Glasgow street was targeted in a suspected firebombing attack. Fire crews were called after the Sanctuary nightclub owner's house on Duthie Park Place in Knightswood went on fire around 1am on Friday, August 6.

Police have launched a probe after a vehicle was set alight in Lessani's garage at the front of the property. The fire quickly spread to the house, where it's believed Lessani was sleeping inside at the time.Scared neighbours told of the terrifying scene as the blaze quickly spread throughout the front of the house as smoke filled the street.One said: "It was really scary."We woke up to a loud explosion and when I looked out the window you could see huge flames."The family are away now.
