raw gaping wound on her hand after a ‘botched’ procedure have blasted the hospital for making a ‘catalogue of errors’. The 64-year-old was admitted to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow last month for a blood transfusion and follow up CT scan to check for any brain abnormalities.
But when she was taken to have the dye injected into her vein by a nurse, she immediately began experiencing excruciating pain after something went wrong.
The grandmother-of-seven, who has asked not to be named, was then ‘abandoned’ in the corridor for three hours after staff allegedly forgot to put her on the porter's list.
