Christopher, from Larkhall, Lanarkshire was diagnosed with kidney dysplasia – a condition where one or two kidneys do not develop properly in the womb – and stage five renal failure when he was just a week old.
Because of his kidney problems, since birth he has been unable to eat foods high in potassium like bananas, yogurt, chocolate and tomatoes – which also ruled out his favourite food Pepperoni pizza.
