Scot dead after two-car crash named by police as probe continues

pensioner who died in a horror crash in Aberdeenshire has been named by police. Stanley Morrison from Macduff sadly passed away following the smash on the A950 Mintlaw to New Pitsligo Road on Friday afternoon.

We told how emergency crews were called to the scene at around 5.50pm after reports of a two-car crash. While Stanley, 83, died in the wake of the crash, a second man was seriously injured.He was rushed to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment.His current medical condition has not been disclosed.Police launched an investigation into the incident.Officers on Monday evening confirmed that enquiries are ongoing.Anyone with information is being urged to come forward.
