A Scot's mind-bending photograph of a reservoir near Stranraer has gone viral after he shared it on social media. Amateur snapper Callum McDowall was visiting the Penwhiren reservoir when he noticed that the water level was higher than he'd ever seen it meaning the overflow sinks were covered creating a strange optical effect.The 48-year-old grew up in nearby Newluce and wanted to see how the recent heavy rainfalls had affected the reservoir.Heading there with his camera set up, he was surprised to see the sinks in full flow."You could feel the water rumbling below your feet," Callum explained.
