A man who lost his mum and brother to heart attacks just months apart has spent the last year climbing mountains, running and wild swimming.
Jared Scott, 30, said the challenges helped him cope after mum Sue, 57, and brother Sam, 36, died. He ran 5km daily in March, completed a kilt walk in April, scaled Britain’s three highest mountains within 19 hours in July and went wild swimming every day in September, among many other feats of endurance in the other months.
