Outlander co-stars Sam Heughan and Graham McTavish are hitting the road together to explore Scotland’s real history for a new travel series.The actors, who play feuding relatives on TV, will visit key monuments across the nation to learn more about their shared homeland for the eight-episode Men in Kilts: A Roadtrip With Sam and Graham.Among their stops will be the site of the Massacre of Glencoe in 1692, and the Culloden battlefield – depicted in Outlander – where the last big clash of the Jacobite Rising took place.The show will be developed by officials at Sony Pictures TV for the U.S.
network Starz – the same producers behind historical drama series Outlander, which is based on the books by Diana Gabaldon.Heughan admits it was great fun.
