Ryan Reynolds has admitted that his daughters inspired him to open up about he mental health struggles. The actor, 44, discussed his personal battle with anxiety last month to mark Mental Health Awareness month.
And he has thanked his three daughters for giving him the courage to speak out and try to help others with the disorder feel more comfortable with the diagnosis.
Ryan, who also is co-owner of Wrexham football club, shares three daughters with his wife Blake Lively - James, six, Inez, four and one-year-old Betty.
He took to Instagram at the end of May to say: "One of the reasons I'm posting this so late is I overschedule myself and important things slip.
