Rutherglen's MSP has praised locals for a "heart-warming" response to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.Lanarkshire Live has recently told of numerous businesses, churches, schools and individuals who have done their bit to help Ukrainians affected by the Russian invasion of their country.Now Clare Haughey has called for further support to help bolster the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal, which is raising funds to urgently respond to the crisis and supply people affected with shelter, food, water and medical support.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
