Ruth Langsford
Ruth Langsford (born 17 March 1960 in Singapore) is an English television presenter of shows such as This Morning, Gift Wrapped and How the Other Half Lives. Langsford is an anchor on ITV's lunchtime chat show Loose Women and presents Ruth Langsford's Fashion Edit on QVC. She took part in the fifteenth series of Strictly Come Dancing, where she came ninth. She is currently the longest serving female presenter of This Morning. Ruth currently is more frequently known for her exclusive fashion collection, for British fashion label QVC. After being approached to curate a collection, Langsford signed a multi million pound endorsement deal that spawned 19 sellout collections; 18 of which debuted at London Fashion Week Women’s Collection.

Ruth Langsford 'terrified' Eamonn Holmes before split and spoke about 'rocky start'

Eamonn Holmes was "terrified" of Ruth Langsford during their relationship, according to their mutual pal Liz Taylor. Earlier this month, the television duo announced they had separated after 14 years of marriage in a split that shocked the nation.

Ruth is yet to address the break up in her own words, but has been candid about their marriage over the years including when she spoke to Liz on her podcast, Events That Made Me.

During their chat, the mother-of-one shared details about how she and Eamonn first met through the world of television, in which they both got off to "a rocky start".The presenter said they bonded over their respective ups and downs in the industry – from losing jobs to going freelance – which eventually led to them dating.The pair tied the knot back in 2010 and welcomed their only son together, Jack, 22, two years later.

Reflecting on the earlier stages of their career and relationship, Ruth shared in the 2020 chat: "We have a healthy respect with what we do.
