Ruth Langsford
Ruth Langsford (born 17 March 1960 in Singapore) is an English television presenter of shows such as This Morning, Gift Wrapped and How the Other Half Lives. Langsford is an anchor on ITV's lunchtime chat show Loose Women and presents Ruth Langsford's Fashion Edit on QVC. She took part in the fifteenth series of Strictly Come Dancing, where she came ninth. She is currently the longest serving female presenter of This Morning. Ruth currently is more frequently known for her exclusive fashion collection, for British fashion label QVC. After being approached to curate a collection, Langsford signed a multi million pound endorsement deal that spawned 19 sellout collections; 18 of which debuted at London Fashion Week Women’s Collection.

Ruth Langsford forced to apologise after guest swears live on This Morning

RUTH Langsford was forced to apologise to This Morning viewers today after a guest swore live on air. Ruth and her husband Eamonn Holmes were hosting a consumer rights segment when the air turned blue.

Money expert Katie Morley had been invited on to the ITV show to help with viewers' consumer issues. But when one viewer called in to ask for advice about a faulty sofa she had bought, Katie told her: "Oh I'm so sorry, darling, that is s**t." Instantly realising what she had said, Katie immediately slapped her hands over her mouth and giggled.

Ruth, meanwhile, cut in and said: "We do apologise for that." Eamonn, however, stayed entirely deadpan as Katie composed herself and continued giving the caller advice.
