Sherry Pie, whose real name is Joey Gugliemelli, debuted on Drag Race debut on Friday, but has since been axed from the show.
At least five aspiring young actors have claimed Gugliemelli, 27, catfished them over several years by posing as a casting director via email.
They alleged the drag queen duped aspiring stars to submit “disturbing” acting audition tapes . After the accusations became public, bosses at VH1, the channel which airs RuPaul’s Drag Race, announced Gugliemelli had been disqualified from the show.
