Rugby League's Jansin Turgut recalls mental health battle that led to suicide attempt

Jansin Turgut admits he may get upset on this week’s anniversary of the day he tried to commit suicide. The former Hull and Salford forward almost succeeded, being left with a catastrophic list of broken bones after throwing himself off the roof of a three-storey car park at Ibiza airport.

The worst of his injuries were two broken legs, a smashed pelvis, five fractured vertebrae in his lower back and every bone in his face broken.
