It is hoped that the York family will continue to "stay under the radar" by the rest of the Royal Family, one expert has claimed.
Royal biographer Andrew Lownie claims that Prince Andrew is seen as an "embarrassment" to the rest of the Firm and that his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson “continues to generate unfortunate headlines”.Just this week, the Express reported that a source had revealed that Andrew was banned from appearing at this year's Order of the Garter as the Palace wants to cut down on the disgraced Duke's public appearances.However, the author of the 2021 work Traitor King said the royal family desperately "needs" more working royals after they lost both Andrew and the Sussexes in quick succession.Andrew's two daughters Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice are also unlikely to be able to take on any prominent roles due to the demand of their young families with Eugenie having just given birth to her second son at the end of May.Mr Lownie however implied to the Express that it is hoped the York family will stay away from the spotlight altogether.Mr Lownie said: “The Firm need more working royals but the daughters are young mothers and have careers.
