Rose-Ayling Ellis and Giovanni Pernice have crowned Strictly Come Dancing 2021 champions in an emotional final. Rose, the show's first deaf contestant, lifted the famous Glitterball after a close-fought contest with former Bake Off winner John Whaite and his pro dance partner Johannes Radebe who made history as Strictly's first all-male pairing.

This series was hailed the 'best series yet' of the BBC dance contest in its 17 year history.
