Roman Kemp says he is often mistaken for being a family member of the notorious – and murderous – Kray twins. The 27-year-old Radio DJ and former I’m A Celeb contestant also said cab drivers have been known to make odd reference to the legendary East End gangsters, Ronnie and Reggie Kray.
Roman’s 58-year-old father, Martin Kemp, and his 60-year-old uncle, Gary Kemp, portrayed the Kray twins in the 1990 film The Krays which dramatised the life and crimes of the London gangsters.
The association with the notorious gang leaders appears to have made some taxi drivers to believe that the Global FM star is somehow a gangster himself.
