Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts has died "peacefully" at the age of 80, his publicist has said. A statement read: "It is with immense sadness that we announce the death of our beloved Charlie Watts." It continued: "He passed away peacefully in a London hospital earlier today surrounded by his family." It went on to describe Charlie as a "cherished husband, father and grandfather" and called him "one of the greatest drummers of his generation".The statement concluded with his family asking for some time to process their loss.
