Corrie star 'quits' new soap less than a year after taking starring role

Doctors actress Wendi Peters has reportedly quit the BBC soap less than a year after she took the starring role.The 55 year old plays Nina Bulsara in the medical show after joining earlier this year, but she is said to have already filmed her final scenes. A Doctors fan account on Instagram called @doctorsbbc has said that she is departing from her role. Sharing a picture of the actress on the page, they wrote: "Wendi Peters is departing from her role as Nina Bulsara, having filmed her final scenes this week." Fans were quick to pick up on the news as they commented on their disappointment at her possible departure.
