Coronation Street icon opens up on new romance after splitting from husband of 33yrs
ok.co.ukCoronation Street legend Wendi Peters, who played the role of Cilla Battersby-Brown in the ITV soap has opened up on finding love again after her split from husband Kenny Linden after 33 years together last year.
After her split from the actor last year, Wendi moved out of the family home, and now her love life is going from strength to strength.
The 56-year-old, who lives in Buckinghamshire has been dating Gareth Wale, 53, from Leicester for 14 months, and it looks like the two are ready for the next step.
Speaking on their relationship to The Sun, Wendi said: “Moving in is certainly something we might consider." “It's very hard continuing a relationship when you're 150 miles [round trip] away from each other, with very different work hours, so that may be something that will happen in the future.
