The Rolling Stones’ drummer Charlie Watts has died at the age of 80. Charlie shot to fame in the rock band alongside Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Brian Jones, with them releasing hits such as Satisfaction and Paint It, Black over the years.
On Tuesday his passing was confirmed, with a statement revealing he ‘died peacefully in a London hospital surrounded by his family’.
A host of stars have paid tribute to the rocker since the news broke, with The Beatles legend Paul McCartney calling the late star a ‘lovely guy’.
