Sir Alex Ferguson was known to run a tight ship at Manchester United. Ferguson enjoyed unprecedented success which has never been replicated since his retirement.
He introduced Robin van Persie to fire the club to his last Premier League title, with the Dutch goalscorer coming into a dressing already known for its established leaders.
Whilst Ferguson kept the ship on course, the dressing room environment at Old Trafford was known to largely police itself thanks to its senior members.
And Van Persie has recalled how he entered the club to find “five bosses” in the dressing room in the form of Nemanja Vidic, Rio Ferdinand, Paul Scholes, Michael Carrick and Ryan Giggs.
