ROBBIE Williams and Led Zeppelin star Jimmy Page are embroiled in a new row at their million-pound mansions as they go to war over a TREE.
The two rock superstars are set to battle it out in the coming months as the former Take That singer starts work on his “super-basement”, which includes an indoor swimming pool, gym and passageway to the main house.
But the pair put their differences aside temporarily this week, when Robbie put in a planning application to chop down a historic 70ft Robinia tree to one metre.
It sits on the border of the two properties in West London, and is under a strict tree preservation order. The Led Zeppelin guitarist agreed with Robbie’s application to the council, which stated that “extensive cracking has appeared in boundary wall - indicating there has been some movement of the tree.
