Rishi Sunak and Sir Keir Starmer will go head to head in the first televised leaders' debate of the General Election campaign next week.
Mr Sunak confirmed in a televised statement outside Number 10 last week that the election would take place on Thursday, July 4.
He had previously said the general election would take place in the 'second half' of 2024. ITV confirmed the Prime Minister and the Labour leader will take part in the show at 9pm on Tuesday June 4.
The hour-long debate will be moderated by Julie Etchingham and take place in front of a studio audience.
