mirror.co.ukNew video footage shows riot police being attacked as they broke up a huge rave over the Bank Holiday weekend which attracted around 500 revellers.
In the clip one man is seen kicking out at officers as more than 100 shut down the mass gathering on Sunday. Officers were also attacked with bottles and cans as they disrupted the rave - which was first reported in Thetford Forest in Norfolk on Saturday night.
Five people were arrested and fined £100 for attending the unlicensed music event, Cambridgeshire Live reports. Investigations are underway to identify the event organiser, who could face a £10,000 fine under a new law to deter mass gatherings due to coronavirus.
