Rio Ferdinand has offered an insight into new Manchester United coach Darren Fletcher’s group chat behaviour.The Scotsman made nearly 350 appearances for the Red Devils, winning five Premier League title and a Champions League.
After leaving football in 2019, the 36-year-old started coaching United’s U16s in October – and has now been promoted to the first team.
But Ferdinand, who spent 12 seasons with Fletcher at Old Trafford, revealed that the coach has an interesting take to chat groups.
Speaking on his Youtube channel, the former defender said: “I speak to him a lot. We have a group of about 20 of us who chat all the time. “He’s always insightful but he likes a laugh - he likes the banter.
