Rhian Brewster has snubbed Liverpool team-mate Virgil van Dijk when asked the toughest defence he has faced, instead opting for the Japanese back-line.
Brewster, who has spent the second half of the season on loan at Swansea, has often been highlighted as one for the future. He spearheaded England's Under-17 to World Cup glory in 2017 alongside the likes of Phil Foden and Callum Hudson-Odoi though a serious ankle injury kept him out for 16 months since then.
Brewster, 20, netted four times in 10 starts for Swansea and was beginning to show signs of his potential. He was causing issues to many Championship defences having done the same to Van Dijk during Liverpool training.
