Residents in south Manchester have expressed their anger at a ‘huge mountain of rubbish’ that they say hasn’t been removed from outside of a block of flats.
They say the dumped rubbish outside the residential building on Central Avenue in Levenshulme has been there for so long that it even appears on satellite images via Google Maps.
One resident, who wishes to remain anonymous, said it was an eyesore that is now having an impact on how people see the area. “We’ve been told that it’s one of the first things people can see as the train leaves Levenshulme Station for Piccadilly,” they tell the Manchester Evening News . “Getting this sorted has been a nightmare - we’ve been in contact with the council about this property for months.” The
