Secondary school pupils in Renfrewshire are being asked to take lateral flow tests twice a week when they return to school on Wednesday.Renfrewshire Council has requested that all youngsters attending the area’s 11 secondary schools take a home covid test before returning to the classroom as concerns continue to grow over the spread of Omicron in the area.The Express previously revealed that Renfrewshire was one of the worst affected areas in the country, having recorded 3,468 positive cases between December 22 and 28 - with a test positivity rate of 1,933 cases per 100,000 people.Don't miss the latest headlines from around Renfrewshire.
